While an API key is required for authentication, it doesn’t immediately guarantee access to a specific API. The key must first be authorized to use a given API through the Kasabi website.
How do I get my API key authorized?
Before attempting to use an API, users should sign up as a subscriber to the API, via the “Subscribe” link on the API homepage. Users will have to confirm that they agree to the terms and conditions for the underlying dataset before their key becomes authorized to use the service.
Note: some APIs may be configured to require an additional level of approval before keys are authorized. Authorization will be pending until access is enabled or denied by the owner of the API.
Requests to unauthorized APIs will return an error code until authorization has been granted.
